Request a room away from the gravel carpark for a quieter night's sleep, especially if you're a light sleeper.

excellent spot for exploring nearby castles and parks
I had a wonderful stay with the best breakfast and cosy rooms, making it a perfect base to explore the beautiful Bellister Castle just under 4 km away and the amazing Walltown Country Park less than 2 km from the hotel for some lovely walks in nature.

Food lovers paradise
Had a delightful dinner on arrival, steak was melt-in-your-mouth good. The next morning, I felt like royalty with a breakfast that almost made me forget about my usual exploits.
It wasn’t the most affordable place, but still reasonable for what you get.

Had a great time with friends! We hiked Hadrian's Wall and explored nearby places. The views were stunning, and the atmosphere of the inn was cozy. The food was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. Just a heads-up, the rooms could be a bit noisy at night, but overall, we loved our stay.
One downside was seeing some odd advertising when we arrived. it wasn't clear that another development was next door, which threw us off a bit.

Had an awesome time with friends at this charming spot! We visited Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Water, perfect for exploring. The staff were super friendly, making our stay cozy. Breakfast was great, and dinner was even better. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit noisy around the gravel carpark, but overall, it's a good choice for a fun getaway!
Our only downside was the hard beds. they really needed some extra cushioning for comfort.

Charming, charming, charming.
I enjoyed a cozy getaway in a charming room with direct access to an outdoor space overlooking the picturesque hills. The food was an absolute delight. both dinner and breakfast were top-notch, with the best steak I've ever had! Plus, the owners made our stay even more special with their warm hospitality and fascinating stories about the local history.

Had a wonderful stay while exploring Hadrian's Wall. The food was fantastic, with both breakfast and dinner exceeding expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bed was a bit firm for my liking. The staff were incredibly warm, sharing local stories that added to the charming atmosphere. it's a lovely spot to recharge after a day of hiking.

Cozy pub vibes and great food!
We spent a night at this quaint inn and really felt the warmth from the staff. The pub is super cozy, perfect for chilling after a day of hiking. We had the family suite, which was nice, but kinda basic. Breakfast was top-notch, though! Would've loved a top sheet under the blanket, but overall pretty solid place.

We really enjoyed the lovely meals in the beautifully decorated restaurant and the relaxing outdoor seating area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only downside was the mattress was a bit firm for my taste, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. I highly recommend trying the local beers they offer – they're fantastic! 😊

Family with children will love it
The food was exceptional, really, I mean 5-star quality for both dinner and breakfast, couldn't believe how good it was. the staff were incredibly friendly, they even offered to join in on a small New Year’s celebration when they had a private function going on.
It wasn't exactly cheap but for what we got, it was still acceptable.
